形態特徵

• Perennial, ascending or creeping herbs; stems brownish, hirsute, subquadrate, sulcate on sides.
• Leaves opposite; petioles 0.3-3 cm long, semiterete, sulcate above; lamina 3-nerved from base with 1-2 upper pairs of veins, membranaceous, hirsute on upper surface and lower veins, ovate, 1-4 cm long, apex acuminate to caudate, entire along lower margins, serrate and ciliate along upper margins, base obtuse to rounded; stipules 4, lateral, free, entire, ciliate, ovate to ovate-lanceolate, 2-5 mm long, 1-3 mm across.
• Inflorescences several, aggregated; involucre tubular or campanulate, 5-toothed, ciliate, tomentose and hirsute outside; male flowers ca. 2 mm long, unequally 3-toothed, villose outside, stamen 1, filament robust, with many transverse vermicular furrows on upper side; ovary of female flowers smooth, stigma filiform-ligulate, puberulent on one side.
• Achenes ovoid, 1-1.5 mm long, laterally compressed, angled.

分布

• 台灣 : at medium altitudes in the central and southern parts.
• 世界 : Southern India, Java, and China(Yunan).
